Current tenants

The Estate Office is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

If you need to report a repair or maintenance matter please call the estate office on 01780 752075.  We operate an out of hours call out service.  The required phone number for this service changes regularly so please call the above number and listen to the instructions on the answer machine.

The Estate team are on site to manage the maintenance and repairs for all Estate properties.  We use our own staff wherever possible, when necessary calling on specialised tradespeople who have been links to the Estate.

New tenants and applicants

Properties are unfurnished, however, we do provide an oven, hob and floor coverings.  Before the tenancy commencement a property will receive a full professional clean, chimneys will be swept and gardens maintained.  A full narrative and pictorial record will be taken to demonstrate the condition of the property being let, a copy of this document is provided to the incoming tenant.

Typically a property will be let on an Assured Shorthold Tenancy with an initial term of 12 months.  All applicants are referenced using an independent referencing agency, using a simple form, for a nominal fee of £25.  The Estate does not operate a first come first serve basis, preferring to find a suitable tenant for each property.  

A successful applicant will be required to pay a fee to secure the property.  Prior to the tenancy commencement date a security and dilapidations deposit, equivalent to two month’s rental value, is required together with the first months rent and an administration fee of £150 for drawing up the tenancy and associated documentation.
